Well, I did hear that G.I. Joe was nonsense to even those aforementioned non-engineers. The movie was hilarious for all the wrong reasons. Dare watch the movie only if you are interested in watching ridiculous science fiction that pretty much does not care for anything else. (The future is in nanotech!)
The big, big life-saver for this movie was that Byung-hun Lee was extremely hot and amazingly proficient in English. Did I mention that Byung-hun Lee was extremely hot? I would even watch the blatantly advertised sequel as well if Lee were to appear again. Even if the second movie is as corny as the first one. And Byung-hun Lee was extremely hot.
Haven't watched G.I. Joe yet.. but Channing Tatum is cute hehehe one of the reasons for me to watch it.. that is... if I ever do...
ReplyDeleteI grew up watching the G.I. Joe cartoon so it's one of those things I wish people will just not try to make it live action.. which is why I'll never watch Transformers either.. can you imagine how ridic it would be if people tried to make Taekwon V or DokSuRi 5HyungJae into live action? Ewwww
I think they actually were planning on (or already made but completely disappeared) a live action movie on taekwon v. what happened to the live-action version of dragon ball and cowboy bebop i wonder? by the way doksuri 5 hyung jae live action is something i definitely do not want to see[...]
ReplyDeletesome other traumatizing live action movies would be sailor moon and versailles jangme[...]
ReplyDeleteThe real life version of Dragon Ball did indeed come out this year, but it was such a commercial flop that not many people actually noticed its coming and going.
