Scheduled maintanence

Not unlike kitty who chases her little ball caging a tiny shiny bell, who steps on my feet in her frantic chase for life. For a fleeting moment I realize how warm the cat's body temperature is compared to mine. We all are supposed to burn off the same amount of energy each day, and the smaller feline needs to heat up her body much more than the larger hairless ape so that she does not burst into a million crimson feathers, not unlike what she has done to her dangly bird toy, actually.

Such are the concept of thoughts that are floating in my mind. Age supposedly begets wisdom and logic and critical thinking and decision making, but it certainly does kill memory and coherence and brilliance and charm and originality. A crystal clear, dry-ice cold, prestigious engineering bachelors of science degree trained understanding of the universe so to speak, and there is a solution to everything, and nothing is right, nothing is wrong; only a set of rules exist, and the crux is that either you are with the rules or against the rules. And that is science. Thus the truth surely will set you free, actually.

Not unlike the mind after several cups of coffee preceded by a fifth of vodka. Thus is the state of my mind these days.
